Authentic leadership and employee health: a conditional process model

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect authentic leadership (AL) on employees' health via perception climate authenticity (PCA) across two studies. In study 2, authors additionally explore moderating role neuroticism. Design/methodology/approach hypotheses were tested studies using two-wave survey data. 1 ( n = 104), mediation hypothesis was tested. Study 2 146) extended and examined moderated model. Originality/value This addresses gaps literature investigating authenticity, a mediating variable lies at heart AL, integrating personality process.
